TIBET

A journey to the top of the world

At the moment we only can arrange group tours (min. 4 people) to Tibet.

Our recommendation for an introduction to Tibet would be the journey from Lhasa to Gyantse, Shigatse and back to Lhasa. During this fantastic tour you will cross some of the highest passes of Tibet, experience impressive Buddhist Monasteries, breathtaking scenery with skyrocketing mountains, desert like plateaux and the friendliness of the Tibetan people. You could either fly to Lhasa or we could organize one of the most spectacular train journeys for you. We definitely recommend an extra night in Lhasa at the beginning of your tour to become acclimatized to the high altitude of this beautiful area.

You will visit Shanghai which is not only a “boom town” it is meanwhile also a popular tourist destination renowned for its historical landmarks such as The Bund, The City God Temple and beautiful gardens like the Yuyuan Garden. The vibrant, extensive and growing Pudong skyline is described as the "showpiece" of the booming economy of China.

The classical gardens in Suzhou were added to the list of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in 1997 and 2000. Suzhou is often dubbed the “Venice of the Eastern World“. Enjoy a trip by boat during the evening hours through the romantic canals and rivers and watch the Suzhou’s rich history passing by.

The Li river is one of China’s most spectacular scenic areas. Travel the Li River as its snakes through the Karst Mountains to Yangshuo Only a short drive from Guilin you will see the most amazing rice terraces of China in Longsheng. As well as its breathtaking scenery, Longji is also the area to experience China’s ethnic minorities' rich culture heritage. The colourful dressed Zhuang and Yao nationalities live here and will perform their singing and dancing tradition.
